The Windy City

While my mom was in town, she offered to watch the boys for us so we could get away for a weekend in Chicago. Trent was able to get off a little bit early Friday afternoon, so we took advantage and made our way to Chicago. We had a great time eating, shopping, going to movies and sleeping in. But I have to say the highlight of the trip for me was our daily treat from the Corner Bakery. Seriously, I don't even like cake very much, but these are the BEST! We were very tempted to buy a full-size cake and bring it home with us, but decided we'd better not. Our only shot of the two of us together:
