Charlie's Tubes (Part 2)

Charlie and I headed back to the hospital this morning to have his adenoids removed and his tubes re-done in his ears. I really hope this time will help! Although I dread having him taken from me, I absolutely love being there waiting for him when he wakes up and being able to hold and rock him for an hour or two with no interruptions. It has been so long since I've been able to just sit and hold one of my kids without them wiggling out of my lap, so I cherished it! So sweet. And this is pre-surgery...back to Charlie's hot rod. He totally remembered it from last time!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this will make my (and Charlie's) winter just a bit more bearable.

What a sweet boy! Isn't that the best? Holding your baby in your arms and rocking them? Hope Charlie is doing well.

Emily, I had no idea Charlie was going in for surgery today. I hope you are all doing better. Poor little guy. I love holding my kids too. The older they get the more they wiggle out of my arms faster. I'm glad you got some good holding time with little Charlie. Hang in there!

Em - he's such a sweetheart. I just love looking at him, so thanks for the post. It's been a long day and was too late to call when we got home tonight - we'll call tomorrow. Love ya!

Hope Charlie's doing okay today - good luck keeping him down and not letting him run around!

crossing my finger's that it works this time.

I love the part about holding them and rocking them. Made me want to go grab one of mine and TRY to rock them.

Seriously... crossing my fingers! IT WILL WORK THIS TIME!
