Charlie turned two a couple weeks ago and I've been wanting to jot down some things that make Charlie so special to us.
- He has the funniest personality. Seriously, every night Trent and I talk about how cute he is and how much he makes us laugh.
- He is passionate about Thomas trains. It is unlike anything I have ever seen.
- He and Trent finally bonded over the last couple months. It is really sweet.
- For the last half hour before bed he literally just runs laps around our apartment over and over again. I have no idea what the point is, but he loves it.
- When he falls down or gets hurt he says, "I sorry."
- He loves music and loves singing songs. He has some pretty sweet dance moves, too.
- He is doing so great in nursery without Jack. I was a bit worried about it but it makes me so proud of him that he goes on his own now.
- He plays so well by himself. Often times I'll find him just sitting on the floor flipping through books. I love it.
- He knows all his letters and colors and can count up to the teens. He is constantly pointing out different letters and shapes while we're driving in the car. It's so fun to see him discovering the world around him.
- He is so good about going to bed, as long is Jack is in the room with him. Over Christmas we tried having him in his own room and it did not go over well. Once I finally figured it out and moved Jack into C's room, it was sweet silence.
- He has been such a happy little man ever since he had his adenoids removed and tubes re-done. Seriously the best decision ever.
- He loves to laugh. Trent often says he thinks Charlie's going to be the kid everyone wants to hang with because he's just so much fun to be around. I agree.
- He is so good about clean-up time. He sings the clean-up song and can put away their entire bedroom by himself.
- He lets Jack boss him around and totally follows along. I often wonder if this is how I was with Rebecca.
- He is a total mama's boy. Love it.
Charlie, we love you so much. Happy Birthday!

Yeah, I'm sure I was pretty bossy (much more so than Jack) and I probably made you follow along just like Charlie does. What can I say, it's the curse of being the oldest child.
Give Jack and Charlie a yibbity bop for me.
2 already. I can't believe how fast it is all going by. And of course he is such a smarty pants, so was Jack! I swear he could do those puzzles in a minute-flat.
Happy Birthday Charlie. He's so cute--even if he does only take 45 minute naps!
Oh, Emily. Kill me on that layover to get to SLC. I can't think of a greater h*ll than that!
Charlie is a doll. I wish our boys were closer and they could be buds!
We find out March 19th where we'll be! When do you guys move?
