January has pretty much rocked my world and in an effort to try to feel more like myself, I am updating my blog at long last. Our trip to Utah began by chillin in the Des Moines airport for like six hours, thanks to a delayed and then cancelled flight. Let's just say the boys pretty much had The Grinch memorized by the time we made it to Salt Lake.
Trent and I enjoyed our first taste of Rock Band and were immediately hooked! Here we are with my sister Rebecca and cousin Hannah.

Charlie's tambourine hat he wore while singing Christmas carols:

They opened one present on Christmas Eve and I was shocked at how excited they were to receive matching pajamas!
Trent took the kids to The Polar Express on his own. What a guy!
And, of course, my surprise birthday weekend in Scottsdale with my mom and sister. As Rebecca said many times that weekend, we should be in a recession more often...the deals were unbelievable!

Jack's preschool Christmas program. I loved it so much! It was a definite Christmas highlight for me.
