My dad came into town to help out with the kids while Trent was in Vail a couple weeks ago. They loved having him here all to themselves and I loved having a personal assistant for all I did! Thanks again, Dad.
We've been spending lots of time indoors just trying to keep warm. The kids have been loving having playdates and I'm actually surprised how content they have been just hanging out at home. I, on the other hand, cannot wait until spring.

Jack and I built a tent in his bedroom and now he is constantly wanting to eat snacks, play Candyland, watch movies, read, and do just about anything in there. Who knew it could provide so much entertainment?
Trent and I finally got a chance to go out this weeekend to a great concert in Iowa City. We had so much fun and it was so nice to do something together after me feeling sick for so long and him being so busy with his thesis these last couple months. If we can make it through this next month we'll be home free and soon moving on to Denver! We are so excited.
Of course, I am eating up every second of The Bachelor this season. I cannot wait for the dramatic conclusion next week. What will I do without my weekly fix?
