At Last

  • I am finally weaning myself off Zofran. Although my doctor keeps assuring me it's perfectly safe, I don't like knowing I'm taking medicine every day. I'm now on my third day in a row without taking any and although I feel worse, I hope I can kick the habit for good!
  • Trent FINALLY turned in his thesis on Friday! I cannot even tell you how happy this makes me. It's been a long couple months with him going early and staying late to get that bad boy finished up. He defends it on Friday and I'm sure will have a few revisions to be made, but for the most part it is DONE!
  • The wait is almost over to find out what this little babe is (even though I'd bet my life it's a boy). We have our ultrasound on Monday and I cannot wait!
  • Also on Monday is Jack's 4th birthday. I think he's most excited about being able to eat off the "special red plate." He's been asking me nonstop for the last few weeks if he can use it and I keep telling him he can on his birthday. We made a chain and are tearing off a link each day.
  • Everyone in this household is finally healthy. After the last two weeks of pneumonia, double ear infections, fevers, chills, couging, throwing up, and unbelievable sinus pressure, we are all healthy and anxious to take advantage of some warmer weather!
  • I survived teaching Relief Society on Sunday. So nice just to not have it constantly in the back of my mind. I think it's getting easier each month.
  • My kids slept in until 7:20 this morning! Nevermind the fact that to them it probably feels like 6:20, but I'll take it!
  • I've been selling stuff like crazy on Craigs List. Our apartment is looking more and more bare as I prepare for our big move!
  • I finally bit the bullet and took Jack and Charlie to Great Clips to get their hair cut. I had a coupon and decided to put it to use so they weren't looking like such little homeless boys. It turned out great! A few M&M's go a long way.
  • The office leases in Denver are signed and we're good to go! Have I mentioned how excited I am to move?
  • The Bachelor is over. I never thought I'd say it, but I'm really quite sick of Jason/Molly/Melissa drama. I think I finally got burned out this season.
  • This baby is kicking like crazy. I didn't feel Jack or Charlie until about 20 weeks, but I've been feeling this one for almost a month now. I love it!

I can't believe you find out on Monday!!!! I hope it's girl - Jordan is sure it's boy because "everyone has three brothers in their family".

And hooray for selling things on craigslist! It's only 87 days until the big move!

Girl, girl, girl is my prediction. My palms literally start sweating every time I think about the ultrasound! What time is it, by the way?
