Grandma's Visit

My mom came for one last visit to Iowa a couple weeks ago to help celebrate Jack's birthday and keep me company while Trent was in Denver for the week. We loved having her here and she spoiled us with a night away at the Marriott, delicious meals, and tons and tons of help with the kids. Jack and Charlie just loved having her here (despite Charlie's expression here)!

As if they don't get enough time playing with trains at home, we decided to head to the library for a change of scenery and storytime:

We had the best weather while she was here and spent a lot of time outside playing at the park. I really wanted to sign Jack up for soccer or t-ball this year, but we will be moving half-way through the season. Jack's really getting the hang of it!

And Charlie wasn't too shabby, either!
